Hey ladies!

Can you believe it’s already December! It really seems like just last week we were talking about summer plans! Now it’s all about Christmas and plotting New Year resolutions! I say it every year, but this year really flew by. Now that winter is about to settle in, we’ll be layering on the clothes and drinking more lattes than usual.

For me, Thanksgiving sets the holiday season in motion.photo 1

We spent the holiday with my husband’s godparents. It’s pretty much our tradition. They are the only family we have out here, so it seems only right that we spend holidays with them.

photo(31)I came in my eating clothes. Everything is easily expandable!

photo(28)I kept it really simple with leggings and cardigan from Victoria’s Secret and my husband’s shirt. Since my husband went the dress slacks and  button down route, I added this necklace from JustFab.com for a little more omph.

photo(29)Trust me, after the dinner I ate, this was the perfect outfit choice! LOL!

I’m looking forward to more good eating during the holidays. I’m looking forward to doing all the holiday stuff with my family. Santa pictures, hitting Candy Cane Lane for Christmas lights, maybe even going to find some snow!

What are you looking forward to?

**I’m linking up with the Monday Mingle.

For Thanksgiving my daughter, my friend and I eat over to my other mother’s (Alma) house. She doesn’t like me calling her step mom and she loves me saying my other mother. She is an awesome cook we had a fabulous meal. I cooked a couple of dishes to pass. I am late this year during my Christmas shopping but I am done with my grandchildren now I have to do the adults. I usually don’t put my table top tree up untell Dec 15th. Every year I take my friends mother that is in her 80’s around town to see christmas lights and we stop and get hot cocoa. What I enjoy about the holidays is everyone in my famly we take time out to be with each other. Everyone enjoy the holidays with family and be thankful!

  4. This is my first thanksgiving experience. I love it. It was awesome! I am from the Philippines and just migrated here a couple of months ago. I’ve been married for 2 years and waited patiently to be with my hubby. Now, I’m living with my American husband for good. 😀 Life is so good. 🙂
