Relax. Relate. Release. I’ve decided these three words will be my mantra. These words will be my little reminder to slow down! My life has been beyond hectic for awhile now and I think that a little de-stressing is in order. I started trying to think of ways to relax. Here’s what I came up with:

  • Tea – It makes me happy. I need to take a few minutes sometimes and enjoy a nice hot cup. With honey and a little milk – YUM!
  • Take the dog for a walk – Lola, really, in her own way shows me how to appreciate little things and literally stop and smell the roses. She stops to notice everything and then she pees on it. I won’t be doing the latter.
  • Get a pedicure – There’s something about the scrubbing and rubbing of feet.
  • Bath time – After baby I have become the queen of showers. They’re so quick. Sometimes I need to light my candles, drop in one of my many unused bath bombs and enjoy.

    • Donna – you’ve got a point. I think I haven’t had sleep in so long, it didn’t even occur to me to add it to the list!
