Yet again, Mama Kat has delivered some great writing prompts for her absolutely world famous writer’s workshop.

1.) Ask the psychic! You have an opportunity to get any question answered in regards to your future. What will you ask?
2.) April is national poetry month…Write a poem about hope.
3.) Something you do that drives your significant other CRAZY.
4.) Spring Cleaning! Share a before and after photo of a room you recently tackled.
5.) Share an old journal entry.

I’m going to take what’s behind door number 1. What would I ask a psychic about my future? Oh, the things I’d like to know. Where do I begin? I’d like to know if there’s a genie in a bottle in my future? A real live genie with three wishes would be awesome! Then, I could make all my dreams come true. I’d first ask for an unlimited amount of wishes. Smart right? I got big dreams genie, I’m going to need more than three tricks out of you. I’d ask for the funds I need to retire myself, my husband and our parents. That’s a good wife and daughter move, right? I’d ask for all the sappy stuff a mommy wants for her child. That kid would have it made, thanks to my unlimited wishes. Then, I’d ask for my home in my favorite neighborhood. It’s not too far from the water and it’s lovely. It would have an amazing workout room, 4 bedrooms, an office and the marble counter tops I LOVE for the kitchen. I’d ask for my current dream car. I know it’s a gas guzzler, so maybe I’d ask for a hybrid version. Make it happen genie! Throw in world peace while you’re at it.  Oh, this was about the psychic, huh?

  1. Ha, Who wants a doom and gloom pychic I’d take the genie anyday.Way to get around the measly three wishes rule. 😉

  2. I am taking door 5. Here is an old journal entry. I have been with this man for almost two years and he has so many previous baggage and issues. Do I want to continue to deal with this..I asked my self. The answer was “No.” So how do I tell him without destroying his spirit or like most men have ego. I read articles about healthy relationship and I prayed. Then I finally told him I was breaking up with him. He was angry. The relationship ended but I know I had did all I could do and when men/ladies are in a relationship and it is not healthy it is time to give it up! I won’t be alone or lack love. I have my daughter and four granddaughters I am watching grown up and a grandson. Grandchildren are a blessing! 🙂
