Welp, that’s it. It’s the unofficial start of summer! Yesterday was full of family time, bar-b-que and hanging poolside. I enjoyed it all from my seat. I have been advised to take it real easy these days and that’s just what I’m doing.

My baby on the other hand seems to have never heard the words “take it easy” uttered to him. He is so hyper – all the time. It’s like someone is giving him a continuous sugar drip! We are just doing our best to keep up with him these days.

We hung out with some family…and filled our bellies.

As usual, little man was the life of the party.

Because he just can’t stay away from the water, he got in some impromptu pool time.

For me, it’s not summer until I hear this song…

Did your “summer” get off to a good start?

  4. Oh my, your little man is extremely adorable. His personality just jumps right off the page! I love the life of the party pic. I think our boys could climb some walls together. And man I miss me some DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince. Mr. Smith has certainly come a long way.

  5. A while ago I started going for bike rides to provincial parks in the summer. So I plan to go biking every weekend that it is not raining. I go on Saturday or Sunday depending on the weather. The reason I take a day off at a time is because going for bike rides once a week takes up a lot of my time and I do not want to give it up. If I take a week off to go camping or something then I would need to make up for the time by not going for bike rides once a week.

  6. I started the summer off with a new bathing suit and by the pool the holiday weekend with my grandchildren. This weekend it is cool but I had a open house to go to today and tomorrow a graduation to go to. This summer is started off busy I am not complaining just stating a fact. I am blessed.
