Our son wakes up at least a half hour before us every morning. He plops down in the bed with us until it’s time to get up and get moving. It’s pretty much my favorite time of the day. I love the little bonding we do even that early in the morning.
One morning while we were all snuggled in bed, he was having a chat with his dad. They were talking about super heroes. My son is a huge fan of Bat Man. He was telling his dad all about Bat Man and Spider Man. While they were talking, something really sweet happened. It was one of those moments that you see in commercials. The kind of moment I wanted to record, play back and remember forever. It was so simple, but that’s why it was so beautiful.
Husband: Who is your favorite super hero?
Son: You daddy!
Me: Melting…
I love that little guy.

How precious. I know the feeling. One day in a random conversation, my daughter said that I was her friend. I felt so honored that she consider me (the mean mama) her friend! 🙂

My lil guy adores his daddy too…he’s a momma’s boy when he is sick, has a boo boo, is tired or hungry…but when all is well…he’d ditch mom for dad any day! lol. I wouldn’t have it any other way…

Sweet! These kids love their daddies and that is much a blessing. Jas’s always rubs honey’s face and tells him, “daddy I’m gonna have a beard like yours!” o.O I hope this isn’t forshawdowing lol!
