After the Kendrick Lamar performance at the Grammys last week, I thought I had reached my rock out quota for the month.
That’s because I forgot the Bruno Mars aka my crush was performing at the Super Bowl.
When I tell you I was up dancing the whole time… My kids got up and got moving with me. My son said, “Mommy, what day is it?” I told him it was Sunday. He said, “I’m going to tell my friends at school that we had a dance party on Sunday!” I love that little boy! He was keeping up with Bruno Mars and even did the splits with Bruno. It was too cute. He and his sister are definitely music lovers like their mama!
This weekend was a pretty busy one. I had a long overdue dinner with my girl Amber. It had been far too long since we caught up in person. Nothing like some good food and conversation to get the weekend started.
We also hit up the zoo this weekend with friends and had a great time. It was really cool to see my daughter pipe up and call out the animals.
Of course, I got a major migraine at the end of the day that lasted well into late Sunday morning. Man, I HATE these headaches.

I LOVE BRUNO MARS! i thought he did such a great job.
I missed Bruno due to having reached my limit with the toddler. I was putting him to bed at halftime. Other than that it was a quiet weekend. Which is good!
Both performances were great!! Superbowl, not so much! LOL! But actually, I just wanted to see the half time show. Kendrick Lamar did his thing at the Grammys!

Two great performances! I love Bruno Mars, Madison adores him. I have a video of her crying when she was 2 yrs old because she wanted to listen to Bruno Mars..haha!! Oh and I instagrammed a video of her doing the split on Sunday!

I’ve not seen the Grammys nor the Super Bowl halftime show (I know; which rock am I living under). But I do like some of Bruno Mars’s songs. Can’t say I’m familiar with Kendrick’s music.
But the weekend was good! Sneaked in a nap on Saturday. Bliss! Then I got together with my BFF for some post-birthday celebration. And I got caught up on a lot of online and offline stuff that was pending. And here we are, midweek already. Go figure!
I haven’t been to a concert in yearsssss. Last one I seen Bow Wow and B2K when they were little, lol.
I do like Kendrick Lamar’s music though. He’s sweet and cute too! 😉
