When I think of summer, a lot of things come to mind. There’s lots of outdoor time, BBQ and random adventures. Truthfully, there are a million things to look forward to as the temperature rises. I’ve decided to narrow it down to my TOP TEN. Here’s my short list of things I’m looking forward to this summer!

Fun activities with my bay-beh’s! We already have a pretty packed schedule. We’ll still keep things going through the summer with swimming classes and camps. The rest of our time will be used for exploring. I have so many places that I like to hang with the kids (most of them are FREE) and they are always up for an adventure.

I phone dump March 24 036We have been talking about a vacation for a while. We are trying to narrow down where to go. There are lots of places in California alone to explore but maybe we’ll venture outside the state – who know? Any suggestions?

Summer festivals are always cool. It just great to get out and see and experience new things.

I don’t know if I’ve mentioned it before but summer/spring clothes are probably my favorite. I love the carefree style with bursts of color. I am also a huge fan of sandals. I have way too many but I get my money’s worth in the summer! I rock these beauties from Victoria’s Secret every year!

vs sandalsI’m hoping to get to sleep in every now and then. Those rare times when my kids decide they need a little more rest in the mornings… I’m looking forward to more of that – PLEASE!

This summer, I’m working out the details for hosting a live event based on blogging. Exciting!

My girlfriends and I have been planning a “paint and pour night for a while now. It’s actually going to happen next month. We’re going to get our artistic skills on while sipping some vino. Should make for some interest art!

I’m also thinking about attending my high school reunion. I have been toying with the idea for a while now. We’ll see if I actually make it there. As of right now, it’s cutting it too close to our vacation dates.

I’m also super excited about the e-book that I’m working on. It will be out this summer as well. I’ve been working hard to put together something for mamas. Find a sneak peek here!

What are you looking forward to this summer!?
