This summer, I’m looking forward to more days at the beach. More backyard grilling and more of my little man just taking it all in. This is one of my favorite memories of last summer. My little man’s first dip in the pool. He’d been to the beach many times before but on July 4th of last year… he stepped in the pool.
We were so excited that we (my husband) bought him every toy and floating device in sight. He had boats and balls floating around, while he stayed snug in his “Cars” life jacket! He was a little scared but daddy was right there with him the whole time. Mommy was on picture/video duty. Eventually he got used to it and had a ball. We have a created a little monster who is obsessed with the pool.
While I certainly can’t complain about our weather here in Southern California, I’m so looking forward to summer and it’s hotter temperatures. Yeah, it gets hot around here all year long but, once the sun goes down it’s “shiver me timbers”. I’m looking forward to hot days and warm nights and more time in the pool for me and my favorite men!

Awwww, how cute is he with his chubby little cheeks? He looks like he might be holding his breath there or something. Adorable.
It’s 80 here this week and that actually scares me that it’s going to be 90 by month’s end!

of course the WARM WEATHER is very welcome…fashion wise I can’t wait for maxi dresses and flat sandals..family wise I can’t wait for my hubs to have a week or two off and spend some time as a family at the beach before the new addition arrives.

I cannot wait for summer! Had the best one ever last year. Rented a beach house and spent every weekend there. Going to do the same again this year and the rental starts mid May. It’s coming soon! 🙂
I can’t wait to put my flip flops on I have one in every color and my feet are so bad because that’s all I wear. Spring is my favorite time of the year not too hot

Honestly, I’m just looking forward to constant sun. While winter has not been a “true” winter as far as cold and snow, I love summer so much that I can’t wait for it. I do not complain when it hits 100 and I can’t take deep breaths because it feels like I’ll suffocate from the intake of hot air, but I do not complain. Because I’d rather be too hot than cold at all. I complain all winter about being cold, so I figure it’s pointless to complain about being too hot too. It never fails to make me roll my eyes when people complain about winter dragging on and on and then bam! the minute summer is here they’re complaining about how hot it is. I love coats. But I like them hanging in the closet way more than on my back.

Me too! I’m so excited for the summer vacation! My friends and I are planning to spend 1 week in a beach resort. I think it’s enough to do all the beach activities and night outs!

I can’t wait for summer to head back out way. I was in California where I grew up this past week and the weather was amazing. I’m not sure why I ever moved away to the tundra Maryland likes to pretend to be in the winter. It needs to end, STAT!
