The most interesting email made its way to my inbox. I’m not sure how I feel about it. I’m signed up for a bunch of Groupon type sites. One of them sent me a deal for a “face tightening” service. Huh? What exactly would you be doing to my face? How do you tighten one’s face? Is there a scalpel involved? I keep picturing this documentary I saw once of a woman getting a face lift. I remember seeing them pretty much cutting her face OFF and stretching it out and sewing it back to her skull. Is this along those lines? I’m just wondering what’s the process for the tightening of a face? Anyone know? The other curious portion of this offer is that it’s allegedly worth twenty-four hundred dollars. The deal is being offered for 99 dollars. That’s one helluva discount! Suspicious much? YES! On top of that, it covers not one, but TWO treatments! How is this possible, people? It’s almost worth buying, you know, for research purposes.

  1. Hi there, love your blog, thanks for stopping at mine!
Your post really made me laugh – I joined Living Social Deals in London and the other day they had a deal on ‘Non-invasive rejuvenating facials’. I was intrigued and called them up I booked. It turned out they would use fillers to ‘rejuvenate’ your skin. I mean, what on earth?! When did become stabbing a needle under your skin non-invasive??!! No rejuvenating happening here anytime soon.
