You may not know it, but I’m a bit of a fashion lover. I think it’s from dabbling in the industry when I was younger. I got hooked. I may not wear all of the fabulous stuff I see, but I’m looking and I like it! I even went so far as to drag my husband to a show at Los Angeles Fashion Week a few years ago. I was loving every second of it. He was probably counting down until the show was over.
My dream has been to attend New York Fashion Week. I seriously need to add it to my 40 before 40 list or at least my bucket list! It seems so fabulous and I need to be there at least once. A few weeks ago New York Fashion Week was in full swing. This year, I got a little bit closer to actually being there – kinda! I received a gift in the mail from jewelry designer, Carolyn Pollack.
It’s a silver pendant with various colored mother of pearl stones. The pendant sits on a multi-color, multi-strand leather necklace. It’s dainty while still making a statement. It matched this sweater perfectly, too!
The beautiful necklace is a part of QVC’s New York Fashion Week celebration. The designer’s jewelry was strolled down the runway this year. For me, this gift is my first step to actually being there. A stretch… maybe. Let me dream. LOL!
