It may be a seasonal thing. I’m not quite sure. What I do know is that every now and then, I feel the need to spruce up our space. I want to add new things to the walls. I want to shuffle the rooms around a bit. I used to randomly buy bright throw pillows all of the time! So, when I recently found myself in Homegoods, I was practically chomping at the bit to buy stuff. Lots of stuff! I guess you could say I was “HomeGoods Happy!” LOL! Instead, I took pictures. Lots of pictures. I saw things I want put in my office space. I found some cute things for the kids room. I also decided that I really want them in their own room and no longer sharing a room. Yeah, I need to convince my husband on this one. Wish me luck. Wanna see what I found? Of course you do. LOL!
I couldn’t pass this up. Partly because it’s so huge, I couldn’t get around it! I imagine if we had a big enough backyard, I could see relaxing on this all summer as the kids play!
I fell in love with these chairs. My daughter loved them too. She kept saying, “Mommy, I touch it!” She really needed to feel the pretty. I would love to put one in their rooms. I could see them in a reading nook.
These chairs, I like for me. I am absolutely convinced my husband wouldn’t let me put hot pink chairs anywhere in our house! LOL!
This beauty was screaming, “Buy Me!”. I promise, I heard it weep as I took a picture and walked away. I cried a little on the inside too. OK, not really, but I REALLY want to get this for my office space!
Have you done any decorating lately? Anyone else randomly bitten by the decor bug? Bonus question: Where could I put those hot pink chairs if I could convince the hubs we need them? 🙂

I am an ikea girl but waiting to get my own place first before decorating as I am scared if I start planning now I will be buying before I even find a place and that be good cause all the monies will be gone which = no house to rent lol
You are not alone my friend. I love change and at times get an overwhelming urge to change things, along with a rush of creative inspiration.
In love with those, keep us posted on what the husband says about the pink chairs. I want a home/apartment to decorate, however, a few things to cross of my list before that is in the picture. ALso, I have never been to a homegoods, I do love Ikea.

They closed the nearest home goods by me no one was shopping there. I was sad but I guess I will get my fix with marshalls. Love the chairs you know pink is not my thing but I still love it.
Home Goods is my weakness! There stuff is so affordable! Usually I try to get inspiration from them and then go thrifting to find something similar or make something on my own!

Yes… I HAVE been bitten by the ‘decor bug’. We recently painted and then I changed our whole theme in our home to beachy/coastal stuff and I LOVE it. I’m not done yet and it’s going to take a while, but I’m dying to buy more. I LOVE those little chairs above – my 5 year old would love them too! And my teen girls are wanting me to buy one of those other chairs for their rooms, which I will probably do.

I am the same way! It must be the change of weather I have ordered a few things to finally finish the command center in the kitchen! That chair would be amazing in the home office I’m planning in my head! We don’t have the space right now boo!!

I have to stay out of stores for this reason! There are so many things that would look amazing in my house but we don’t need them (or so my husband says).
I am chomping at the bit to find a house that I love enough to want to decorate!!! LOL! I do love your finds though and I really enjoy decorating. The thrill for me is seeing what I can do while spending as little $ as possible.

I want that big blue flower! But my husband would not live in this house if I bought it, LOL. I love decorating too but I really am not good at it.

Our home needs a new makeover for our family area. I would love to have a budget to spend on such decor and furniture, but right now I do not. Love the first couch/chair setup, never seen anything like that before and I think it would be great on our back deck!
