I have been determined in the New Year to start getting back to me in terms of fashion. I had just fallen into my new mom uniform. My style had become jeans and a cute t-shirt. Well, I’m slowly modifying that and we’ll have to progress from here. I did a little bit of shopping to freshen up my closet and I’m happy with where things are headed so far. I’m linking up today with The Pleated Poppy for What I Wore Wednesday and Monday Mingle with Glamamom. Here’s what I wore – no place special, just to work! LOL! I managed to keep my hair out of a ponytail (though you can’t tell)! This in itself is no small feat! Trust me on this!
I got the cardigan from Victoria’s Secret (love them for all of my clothing needs – among other things). I love the color. I’m a big fan of bright colors even though I seem to rock a lot of grays and browns. Go figure. The tank is my husbands. I tend to steal his old undershirts. He can’t wear them anymore and they are just right for me! The necklace is Pretty Girl Glam! I have Trina from BabyShopaholic to thank for this addiction. Pretty Girl Glam has so much cute stuff. Easy statement pieces that really make an outfit. It’s way too easy to become an addict. Love this necklace though and it worked perfectly with the sweater.
The jeans are William Rast for Target. When Justin Timberlake’s line hit Target last year, I cleaned up. I think I have about seven pairs of these jeans in different washes. I stocked up once I found a great deal.
The shoes are from Zappos. They’re by Sofft. Ignore the grunge carpet, I took the pic of my shoes at work.
One thing I’ve learned from this post – it sucks to have to take pics of yourself! The hubs was out of town when I took these and my options were my 2 year old, my dog or me. Next time, I’m handing it over to the 2 year old. Who knows, the kid might have skills.

That necklace is cute! And I’m loving the color of the sweater.
As for pictures, you’ll be suprised at what kind of shots the kids make. I’m always suprised when I get my phone back.

My 4 yr. old has been taking ALL of my distance pictures for my blog. My hubby and 8 yr old literally run and hide when I get dressed. I gues I have to invest in a tripod and new camera. I think my hubby will decide to take pictures again once he has to pay the tab:)
