I take inspiration in all forms. One sure fire way to shift my thinking and my mood are quotes. I am always looking for quotes to inspire and to motivate.
I am kind of the queen of quotes. I used to have then taped all around the computer monitor at my desk.

Here are a few of my favorites that have been speaking to me lately:

I’m joining in with Mama Kat’s writing prompts. I chose the prompt: choose 6 of your favorite quotes. I couldn’t just choose six! I thought these were right on time though as we are moving more into this year and may need that boost to keep our goals in sight. Stay focused, motivated and inspired!

Ooh, I love these quotes–especially the last one! I may have to borrow that. I love reading quotes, nothing gets the mind going like a great quote. Mu favorite one is ” give a man a fish, he’ll eat for a day; teach a man to fish, he’ll eat all his life” not exact, but you understand. 🙂

They’re all great, but I especially I love the last one. It’s a really good way to look at things.
I used to be obsessed with quotes. I still love reading them, but I don’t really go out of my way to do it anymore.

I love quotes too! I like the one building your own dreams, versus building someone else’s. All of these are very inspirational! My favorite quote is by C.S. Lewis, “You’re never to old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.”

The Oscar Wilde one is one of my favorites. But a recent one I found is from Margaret Thatcher: ” being powerful is like bring a lady. If you have to tell people you are, then you aren’t.”

I love a good quote (I can rarely remember who said what, though, outside of movies. Now, movies! Movies I can quote, rather creepily.)
love me some quotes…in moderation. sometimes i get inundated with too many coming across my twitter feed. my fave is by Maya Angelou, “When someone shows you who they are, believe them.” i probably don’t have it word for word, but you get the point.
