I am…
A mother, a wife, a daughter, a friend, a writer, a creator….

I can also be a procrastinator, an overly cautious risk taker, a shy, scared to shine mogul in the making. I am full of so many ideas and businesses and visions and dreams.

I have been reading blogs and articles and being inspired.  So many of us are determined in the new year to step out on faith. We are pressing forward with our dreams and bringing our best to the forefront. Yes, there are fears but, from what I’ve read, we’re determined not to let fear win! There are businesses brewing in each of us and it seems that we’re tired of putting it off and waiting until things are perfect. The theme of 2012 seems to be “Just Do It”.

2012 is shaping up to be the year of the entrepreneur. What better time than now? Who better than us? If we’ve learned nothing else from the current state of the world, we’ve learned to not depend solely on corporations. Like any business, they have a bottom line. Like any business, they have to make cuts to keep going. When possible, it always helps to have your own. No matter how small. It’s yours! Who knows what it could become.

Today, I decided to take a break from the cuteness of my son, the many ways I try to achieve style and just give you all a virtual hi-five, pat on the back or that nudge of encouragement we all need from time to time. Yes, the pictures of my baby will resume – probably tomorrow. I’ll still be on my quest for fashion perfection – Mondays and Fridays. Today, though, it’s about you, me, us, we.

If you think you wanna do your own thing but it all seems overwhelming, take the smallest, least overwhelming step. That could mean just writing down the vision. Once you see it, it becomes more real. Don’t talk yourself out of your greatness. It’s in there. It’s special. As big as this may sound – the world is waiting on you to deliver. You know why? Because only Y-O-U can offer what Y-O-U have to give. I can’t do it, she can’t do it – it’s all you. I’ve said it before, if you need a cheerleader – I got you. I bet I’m just a small part of of the cheering section that awaits you.

With so much love,

Camesha

  1. The will, if there was one, would have been filed in the probate court in the county in which the deceased lived when he died. If you know where in Florida he lived, you should be able to go online to see what information might exist OR, at least, find information on how to contact that probate court. When a will is probated, there should be on file a schedule of heirs, and their addresses to which letters should have been sent at the time the will was probated. You will want to proceed QUICKLY to discover if your sister was named in the will, but was somehow NOT notified, as there is a statute of limitations that might prevent her from receiving her inheritance if she was named.

    • Thanks Kita. We’ve all got something in us. We just need to do it. Glad to see you doing your thing!!! Looking forward to all you accomplish!

  3. Nice text, your article made me really thinking. At the end of the year I always compare the last year with the year before it and so on. I always make new plans for the forthcoming year, I remember my mistakes, sometimes I write them down on a piece of paper to learn from them. I think it is very important to make a summery of one’s year, not especially about the business goals, but also of the socials. Nice text, it reminded me that it’s time for my summery:)

  5. Great inspiring post. My husband and I started our own business almost 2 years ago and it was scary but so worth it. Now in 2012 we are starting another business and I am working on starting something on my own as well. Just Do It is the right motto for 2012.
