So, you might have noticed that I stepped out of the matrix.
There has been so much going on in our little family that my brain has been blank. Just overwhelmed, I guess. There has been loss and new beginnings and we’ve made it through. My blogging mojo got lost in all the realness of life and I hit a wall aka writer’s block.
A few weeks ago I saw this “Currently”post on
LaShawn’s blog and had to give it a try!
Let’s hope this is the first step to kicking my writer’s block!
Currently….
Obsessing Over: Babies. I know at least nine peeps who have had babies this year. The latest bambino was born over the weekend. I’m not obsessed enough to throw myself back into the baby game! I’m convinced two is our max!
Working On: New Business Ideas. While I’ve been on maternity leave, I go back and forth between writer’s block and idea overflow.
Thinking About: Sleep. I miss it so…
Listening To: Nothing. It’s so weird. I used to be crazy about music. Now Yo Gabba Gabba is on constant rotation in my car!
Drinking: Mother’s Milk tea. I’ll be going back to work soon and I gotta keep the milk coming!
Wishing: I could spend more time with my daughter before I go back to work.

Babies I can see that just looking at your precious one makes me ALMOST want another notice all caps. I hope you are enjoying your time with the little ones before you go back to work.
Our car radio is often drowned out by the tooting of Thomas the Train’s horn or styling tunes of a Backyardigans dvd! Parenthood changes everything, doesn’t. Enjoy the last bit of your maternity leave.

Glad to see you writing again 🙂 Parenting does change things. The car music, we’ve been going on in the 80s. Actually Zee doesn’t mind what she listens to, as long as she can sing to it.
