There’s something to be said for being a part of this blog life. It’s unlike anything else. It’s like a club of sorts. You can look up members of this club wherever you may travel. No matter where you go, you probably know a blogger there. So why not set up some bloggy dates? Well, that’s what happened this weekend. Kim of From A Wildflower + Marie of GoodLookNOut were in town and invited some ladies out over a series of blogger get togethers. I met up with them for brunch on Saturday. We met at a downtown Los Angeles restaurant called Perch. It was the perfect locale. perchThere was a jazz band playing while we noshed on goodies and sipped sangria’s.

sangria perch la bibsbaublesI’d never “met” these ladies before. I was already connected to them through their blogs and social media. You never know if the person you “know” online is the same IRL, right? Well, no disappointment here. There are just as funny and warm as I’d expect. It was easy to spend a few hours doing this!

wildflower goodlook bibsandbaublesWe talked about everything from our goals in this online life to just life – real life. I look forward to connecting with them again as we all set off on getting things out of our hearts and into the world.

That’s the thing about blogging. I have really met some awesome people just by sharing bits of my life online. I’ve made friends that I share my life with, people that I care about and that care about me. I’ve been the cheerleader for many ladies and you know what, they do the same for me. It’s really amazing. Sometimes people you meet online show you more support than people you’ve known your whole life.

What an awesome community to be a part of.

Have you made friends from blogging?
