This week, my family and I are supposed to be on vacation. We were headed to the mid-west to visit family. Some things came up with the health of our dog that totally changed our plans. The kids are out of school this week for summer break, so now we’re doing a stay-cation. We’ll be putting our trip to see family off for a bit until Lola is back to herself. That chica better know she’s LOVED! 🙂 Mama could really use a vacation /getaway too. Just sayin’
We’ve been tossing around ideas of what to do around these parts. There are SO many things on my list – we are going to have to pick and choose and pace ourselves. Thinking of Disneyland, Sea World, the Wild Animal Park, the Hearst Castle to name a few. I’m thinking we’ll choose one of those and then do smaller things throughout the week.
There’s a few museums I’d like to take the kids to. I’m excited! Just being home from work is a treat. Maybe, I’ll get to work on some of my own projects while we’re off. One thing I’ve been tossing around is bringing my old fashion/beauty blog back to life. Who in the world has time for that??? I know. I really wanna have time for it though. If y’all knew how much stuff I have going on, you’d thump me in my forehead. That’s a whole other post. Yep, a WHOLE other post!!

Awww sorry to hear about your dog! It sounds like you guys will have plenty to do. It’s great that you have those amazing theme parks near you I’m sure the kiddos will love it!

I was supposed to go on a big trip to Maine this month but with time and money constraints, we stayed here and my mom visited and we just did fun day trips. I’m really glad we chose that because even the day trips tired us out in this heat wave and we realized how much harder overnights would have been with two young kids!
