Mommy has submitted the 2nd draft (hopefully final draft) of her book! I have been sitting on a manuscript for YEARS for a book I’d written. It’s about 10 years old at least! I’ve gone back and forth about publishing it and just kept putting it on the back burner. Then something changed. I found out I was pregnant with my little guy. Something about bringing a child in this world prompted me to follow my dreams and ambitions and stop procrastinating. I wanted to have it published by the time he was born. That clearly didn’t happen as he is almost 1 ½. So the goal now is to just do it! Even though I didn’t finish it before his arrival I just have kept plugging away at it and making more progress every week. I don’t think I knew how much work it was going to take to get it done but, it’s getting there and I couldn’t be happier. Because of him, I’ve decided to move on some of my many ideas and pull some of my goals off of the back burner. I want him to see me go after what I REALLY want. My hope is that he’ll follow suit.
